Ad-Din's Getting Started Checklist for Madrasah Admin
We've designed the Ad-Din platform to be fast and easy to set up. To help you make sure all your account components are in place before you begin to promote your Ad-Din App for Madrasah Module to Parents, Teachers and Students, we've provided some easy steps for you to follow.
- Ensure you have completed "Ad-Din's Getting Started Checklist for Masjid Admin" prior to starting with this Madrasah Checklist.
- Verify your account & Complete your profile details.
- By now, you should have access to your account where you can completely fill your profile from settings in Mobile App. Ad-Din requires this information to ensure you are best served.
- We've sent you the verification link to your email, ensure to click on it as soon as possible as it expires soon, if you failed you will not receive any transactional email communications from the Ad-Din solution. You must resend the new link from your settings page if old link was expired.
- Madrasah Module requires some planning; we offer free service to direct you on what may be the best approach for your Madrasah on-boarding to Ad-Din. Get in touch with us and our professional team at no cost will be happy to assist you. You are free to explore on your own as well as we have made it as easy as we can.
- Plan the proper structure for Class and Class Section, this is a crucial piece for success.
For Example, the well planned structure would look something like this, this is just the sample feel free to name the Class & Section to your likeness but should make sense and fit your needs, remember Class is the top level entity like a program and is what public will see.

Dua- Draft the Madrasah Policies such as, Admission policy, Fee details, School Rules, Dress Code, etc. This link has some great examples of these policies.
- Import-Export is a bit complex operation but makes life very easy when dealing with many users. Feel free to log the Ticket and our team will be happy to assist with importing the data at not cost. If you want to do by your self follow step 5,6 & 7 either manual or via CSV, our small how to Import-Export guide may come handy as well.
- Prepare the Students data for either Manual Addition of quick import via CSV/Excel
- If its under 20 Students, you can add them Manually from either Mobile or Web portal.
- If more than 20, it makes sense to import them via CSV file, prepare clean and accurate excel sheet for Students & their parents, here is the sample file you can download for Students import.
- This file has sample data, fill your data below them and once ready remove the sample record, and double validate everything. Ensure there are no tailing spaces in mandatory field else import will fail. Now Save first tab as CSV file.
- Import the CSV file from Settings > Organization > User Management Select your Madrasah and click on Import, provide the file you prepared give it some time while its processing, your students are added to Madrasah.
- Note: If Student already have Ad-Din Account you will require his/her GUID to import as a student. Exclude them from Importing via CSV.
- Username, Password and verification email will be sent to the email provided, ensure they click on the link to verify account else no future emails will be sent.
- Prepare the Parents data for quick import
- If its under 20 Parents, you can add them Manually from either Mobile or Web portal.
- If more than 20, it makes sense to import them via CSV file
- Prepare clean and accurate excel sheet for Parents. Here is the sample file you can download for parents import.
- This file has sample data that fill your date below them and once ready remove the sample record, and double validate everything.
- Save first tab as CSV file. Open the csv file and validate one more time. Close without saving.
- Import the CSV file from Settings > Organization > User Management Select your Madrasah and select Parent on first filter than click on Import, provide the file you prepared for Parent Import give it some time while its processing.
- Note: If parent already have Ad-Din Account you will require his/her GUID to import them as a parent and than link it to a child Account. Exclude those records from Importing via CSV.
- Username, Password and verification email will be sent to the email provided, ensure they click on the link to verify account else no future emails will be sent.
- You can now export the Student and Parent data back to CSV and on Parent CSV file add the Child ID & GUID to link student Account to Parent.
- Add the Teachers data manually if only few like below 20, else prepare the CSV file similar to Parent above.
- To get a sample file add one record manually and than export it.
- Prepare clean and accurate excel sheet for Parents. You can export sample file by adding 2-3 records manually.
- Note: If Teacher already have Ad-Din Account you will require his/her GUID to import as a Teacher. Exclude those parents from creating or Importing via CSV.
- Username, Password and verification email will be sent to the email provided, ensure they click on the link to verify account else no future emails will be sent.
- Although they must have received a personalized email from Ad-Din, it is advisable to prepare the letter from Madrasah to inform Students, Parents and Teachers of their onboarding and how to download and login to app. Arranging a training for Teachers is highly recommended.
- Add Classes as planned in step 3
- Add Class Section as planned in step3
- Add Subjects as planned in step 3, ensure to link classes to right teacher
- Add the Terms i.e. Semester 1 or Winter, Summer etc and Add a complete Class Routine for each Class Section.
- Add the Accurate Grades for your Exam results, here is a detailed article on this.
- Add any upcoming exams
- Add any upcoming Holidays
- Add a Fee Payments for tracking purpose
- If you have Library, add Books in Library section.
- Sit Down with teachers and plan the Assignment, Note: Deleting one assignment in the series will delete whole series so ensure to do it right first time before you begin to review/mark the assignment.
- Make a strategy for daily operations, such as
- taking attendance
- Create Assignment/Homework and Ensure teacher Mark them
- Do a Weekly Meeting to see how the system is working you and where to improve.
- Check the student progress, send messages of every small things happening to keep everyone in the know.
- You may find it small cumbersome initially but as you practice & transition through this change and get used to in about a week or two you will enjoy Ad-Din and operate with a good standard and structure like a PRO insha'Allah.

Now its time to announce your Madrasah App to Parents, Students, Teachers.
- Prepare and have Imam announce it during Jumah congregation, requesting congregants to download the app.
- In the App from Drawer Menu tap on "Share Ad-Din", modify the message to your likeness while keeping the links and post it to your favourite social medias and via email.
- Obtain Marketing poster from Ad-Din.ca and post on Masjid visible area.
- Make lots of Dua and Spread the word of mouth.
