Password Guidelines for Ad-Din Users

To ensure the security of your account and maintain system integrity, Ad-Din enforces the following password rules. These apply to all users.

Password Requirements:

  1. Minimum Length: Your password must be at least 10 characters long.

  2. Complexity:

    • Include at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).

    • Include at least one lowercase letter (a-z).

    • Include at least one number (0-9).

    • Include at least one special character (e.g., @, #, $, %, &).

      • Allowed Special Characters:
        Ad-Din passwords can include the following special characters:

        Symbols:

        • Parentheses: { }, [ ], ( )

        • Arithmetic symbols: +, -, =, *

        • Punctuation: ., ,, !, ?, ;, :

        • Others: #, @, $, %, &, |, ^, _, ~, /, \, , "

  3. Case Sensitivity: Passwords are case-sensitive, meaning A is different from a.

  4. Spaces: Spaces can not be used in your password.

Characters Not Allowed:

  • Non-English or accented characters, such as ü, î, ø, é.

  • Leading or trailing spaces.

General Tips for Secure Passwords:

  • Avoid using easily guessed words, such as your name, username, or common phrases.

  • Use a unique password that is not used for other accounts or services.

  • Consider using a password manager to create and store strong, secure passwords.
