Islamic Studies Progress Report Card
The Islamic Studies Report Card is a term-based grade report for any Islamic studies programs such as Aalim program, Hifz or Evening Madrasah. It reports marks per subject across up to three terms, works out totals, averages and a grade symbol automatically, and produces a bilingual (English + secondary language) PDF that can be emailed to parents.

How the reporting periods work
The report is built once per reporting period. Which periods are available depends on how many terms your Administrator has mapped.
Reporting period | Reports on | Earlier terms shown alongside | Editable marks column |
|---|---|---|---|
Report 1 | Term I | — | TERM I |
Report 2 | Term II | Term I | TERM II |
Report 3 | Term III | Term I and Term II | TERM III |
Each report carries the earlier terms forward for comparison, so a Report 3 shows the student's full year side by side. Only the current period's marks can be edited.
What's on the report
Header — academy logo, school name, address and phone, and the report title.
Student details — name and address, class, and a box per term showing the term dates, days absent and times late.
Marks table — one row per subject with a column per term, followed by TOTAL MARKS and AVERAGE %.
Average bar — the overall average with its grade symbol.
Signature — the Principal's name and e-signature.
Comment — a teacher's comment of up to 350 characters, with a translated version alongside it on bilingual reports.
If a secondary language is configured, subject names, labels and the comment all appear in that language too.

Three things worth knowing up front
Saving is not the same as rebuilding the PDF. Auto-save stores edits as you type, but the PDF parents receive is only rebuilt when someone clicks Save to PDF (or Save All to PDF).
Mark As Ready gates everything downstream. A report that isn't Ready can't be bulk-exported and can't be emailed to parents.
Terms must be mapped before anyone can build a report. If they aren't, teachers see “Missing terms mappings…” and no students load at all.
