Payment module Discount system Updates

Introducing revised logic to

1. Class-wise Discount Rules (Regardless of 1st Child Inclusion/Exclusion)

For the discount to apply:

  • All siblings must be in the same class.

  • That class must be selected in the payment type.

  • Example: charge 1st student $225, 2nd child 200 and third child $175


2. Org-wise Rules (1st Child Excluded)

For the discount to apply:

  • Siblings can be in different classes.

  • All relevant classes must be selected in the payment type.

  • Example: charge 1st student $225, 2nd child 200 and third child $175


3. Org-wise Rules (All Children Included)

For the discount to apply:

  • Siblings can be in different classes.

  • All classes do not need to be selected in the payment type

  • Example: Apply 20% discount to all siblings

Automated PFW Sitemap

New Volunteer Registration Module for Masjid

Beautifully designed with flexible categories, it allows admins to manage signups and collect custom data. Users can register as volunteer via both Portal and PFW.

  • Volunteers can now self-enroll through your website powered by Ad-Din.

  • Masjid admins can manage volunteers and send targeted messages based on skills.

  • All volunteers are listed under the new "Volunteer" tab in Masjid User Management.

  • Easily collect and organize volunteer information to support your Masjid’s needs.

  • Admin can add a dedicated "Volunteer Registration" menu under your Ad-Din powered website for the Masjid.

A monthly prayer time page for each organization is now available to your Ad-Din powered websites.

You can now add a monthly prayer time to your Ad-Din powered website by simply mapping a menu item to an internal page called Prayer Times (Masjid).

The same is also by default available under Masjid menu as well under portal.ad-din.ca.

Block adding student to the class without subscription assigned to parent.

Instead of monthly Export or prayer time Export an entire year from manual tab on prayer times management.

Enjoy a seamless livestream experience with improved UX/UI and bug fixes. As Admin, you can easily embed live audio or video feeds, including Facebook Live, for better engagement on your platform. Revised Attendance Reports with New Filtering Options

Ad-Din now offers three new powerful Academic Progress Reports, conveniently accessible under the Common Reports section:

  • Student Academic Performance and Activity Progress: Providing a detailed overview of student performance across various activities. Comprehensive breakdown of assignments, quizzes, homework etc. This enhancement ensures better insights into academic progress and helps stakeholders make informed decisions.

  • Progress Report by Class (Average of All Subjects): Offers a detailed overview of class performance. A comprehensive metrics for overall class performance. This report helps educators gain deeper insights into class progress, enabling better performance tracking and informed decision-making.

  • Progress Report by Subject by Class Section: Delivers detailed insights into class performance for each subject. Track how the class performs in individual subjects. This report helps educators pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement within each subject at the class level.

These reports allow you to track point-in-time performance if you're leveraging AD-DIN’s academic regression features. Identify top performers, low performers, and areas for improvement to strategically plan the next steps for academic success. These reports are continently accessible from the common reports under the Reports.

Enhanced Navigation: Streamlined Menu Style:

Our new menu design eliminates extra clicks for a smoother experience. Key updates include:

  • Pin Main Menu: Keep the auto-closing menu open for quick access.

  • Improved Options Display: Selected items now open beneath the menu, while hovering over others shows a side popover for quick navigation.

  • Centralized Admin Settings: User Management, Organization Settings, and Subscription Management are now conveniently located under the Admin portal.

Hijri 30th Display Control:

AD-DIN now lets you manage the display of the Hijri 30th on prayer time dashboards and your Masjid's website. As a pioneer in online Islamic systems, AD-DIN addresses the moon-sighting edge case with a robust solution that others have yet to match.

Image Positioning for Better Display:

Administrators can now select specific areas of images when posting News, Events, Donation Campaigns, Banner images, and Carousel images. This ensures that key content is highlighted and perfectly displayed in each section.

Sunsetting Few Features:

To streamline the user experience and focus on core functionalities, AD-DIN will be sunsetting the Carpool, Ideas, Tasbeeh, Quran, and Qiblah Direction features. Qiblah direction in Ad-Din mobile app will remain intact. We encourage users who rely on these features to plan accordingly. Your feedback is valuable—please share your thoughts and suggestions through the Contact Us page.

Event After Specific Salah:

Dec 16, 2024 New Features

When creating events, you can now select an event to start after a specific Salah. Instead of displaying the time, the event will show the name of the Salah on your website running on the AD-DIN platform, offering a more intuitive event schedule for your users.

New Profile Menu Update:

Dec 16, 2024 New Features UXUI IMPROVEMENT

The updated Profile menu now includes links to profile settings, contact support, knowledge base, learning resources, release notes, and legal information, previously found in the main menu. This update streamlines navigation for a more organized user experience. Additionally, a crown icon will indicate you are a premium user.

Livestream Section Enhancement:

Websites powered by the Ad-Din platform now feature an improved livestream section. Embedded audio or video livestreams will appear as a dedicated card on your website's page and in the footer, enhancing user experience and accessibility.

Simplified Hifz Program Assignment Creation:

Nov 9, 2024 ENHANCEMENTS

Creating assignments for the Hifz Program is now easier than ever. Instead of creating individual assignments for each student, you can now multi-select all students at once when assigning any recurring Hifz tasks, such as Sabaq/Lesson, Sabaq Para/Immediate Lesson and Dour/Revision.

Becoming a Hafiz typically takes 2-3 years on average. It is recommended to set up Sabaq (Lesson), Sabaq Para (Immediate Lesson), and Dour (Revision) assignments for the entire 3-year duration in advance. For any new enrollments during this period, individual assignments can be created as needed.

Bug Fix: Event Updates Made Easy:

You can now seamlessly update the start and end times for events . Additionally, single occurrences within recurring events can be modified without any issues.

Numeric IDs for Religious Programs:

Introducing extra Numeric IDs for class creation in programs like Aalim. These IDs enable academic-style progression without conflicting with standard academic grades (JK to 12).

Enhanced Attendance Reports:

Dec 16, 2024 ENHANCEMENTS

The "Attendance by Student" and "Attendance by Class-Section" reports have been upgraded to include unmarked days, excuse notes, and late/early pickup times. Additionally, these reports can now be generated for all students within an entire class section.

Report Builder Enhancement:

Nov 9, 2024 ENHANCEMENTS

The Reports Builder now allows you to hide unused report templates for a cleaner workspace. To do so, ensure the mapped terms are enabled, if not; temporarily enable them, then edit the report and disable it using the switch in top right corner image-20241217-185825.png . If any terms were enabled temporarily ensure to disable them after. Disabled report templates will no longer appear in the actively mapped reports list.

Class Migration Check Enhancement:

Nov 9, 2024 ENHANCEMENTS

To prevent conflicting migration merges, we’ve introduced a programmatic check for class migrations. If an Admin attempts to perform a forward class migration, they will receive the error:
“The target class section is not empty!”
To resolve this, Ensure this migration is done in reverse order e.g. evacuate Grade 8 first then 7>8, 6>7, 5>6, 4>5, 3>4, 2>3, 1>2, SK>1 and JK will have new batch.

Introducing Jumah Location in PFW:

Nov 9, 2024 New Features

Masjid/Musallahs that host Jummah prayers at different locations due to capacity limitations can now easily publish these alternate Jumah locations on websites running on the AD-DIN platform. This update also includes a "Tap to Map" feature for both the normal address above the prayer table and the Jumah location, providing convenient directions for congregants. Jumah location will appear on your public facing website running from Ad-Din as following.

Recurring Events Display Update:

To improve event visibility on websites running on the AD-DIN platform, we’ve updated how recurring events are displayed. Instead of filling all three prime spots, only the next upcoming occurrence of a recurring event will be shown, leaving the remaining two spots available for other events.

News Section Update:

Access to Historical Distributed Reports:

Administrators can now easily download previously distributed reports from the Reports Archive, providing quick access to historical data whenever needed.

Academic Terms Visibility Update:

Disabled academic terms will no longer appear in the reports mapping, ensuring a cleaner and more relevant selection when configuring reports.

Donation Button Added for Mobile View:

To drive more traffic, a Donation button has been added to the top right corner in the mobile-responsive view of websites running on the AD-DIN platform, making it easier for users to contribute on the go.
